Dear GeoMapApp User,
In the coming year, we will be seeking renewed funding for GeoMapApp and are asking for feedback from our user community to help us present a strong case for its continued support and development. We would greatly appreciate your answers (a sentence or more) to any or all of the following questions about the impact of GeoMapApp on your research and teaching activities.
Please send your response to info@geomapapp.org by June 15, 2014.
1. How do you use GeoMapApp in your scientific research? For example, exploring and analyzing built-in data, importing your own data.
2. In what ways, and how often, do you use GeoMapApp for your presentations? For example, creating images/maps you use in talks, posters.
3. How do you use GeoMapApp for teaching? For example, hands-on lab work, in-class demonstrations, student research projects. Please include student level (K-12, undergraduate, graduate).
4. How do you use GeoMapApp for proposal preparation? For example, looking for available data, analyzing your own data, creating images/maps.
5. To influence future developments, what is the most important functionality that is currently lacking in GeoMapApp?
6. What aspects of GeoMapApp do you value most?
7. What is your current status (graduate student, post-doc, K-12 teacher, research scientist, faculty, etc) and area of expertise? For example, junior faculty member at a four-year college, with expertise in geochemistry.
