Deployment of an ocean-bottom electromagnetic (OBEM) receiver in the sea of the Aleutian Islands (Alaska) during sunrise. This image was taken in June 2019 from the RV Sikuliaq’s deck and corresponds to one of the 159 receivers that were deployed to study the fluid content of the crust and mantle along the Aleutian-Alaska subduction zone (EMAGE project).
